          "Sick Woman Healed"
                       Mark 5:25-34  "And a women was there who had been subject to
                        bleeding for twelve years.  When she heard about Jesus, she came
                        up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she
                        thought, 'If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.'  Immediately
                        her bleeding stopped....."

                       Matthew 14:15-21  "As evening approached, the disciples came to him
                        and said, 'This is a remote place, and it's already getting late.  
Send the
                        crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some
                        food.'  Jesus replied, 'They do not need to go away.  You give them
                       something to eat.' "

                        we ask.'  'You don't know what you are asking,' Jesus said.  'Can you drink
                        the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?' "

          "Two Blind Men Healed"
                       Matthew 20:29-34  "As Jesus and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a
                        large crowd followed him.  Two blind men wer sitting by the roadside, and
                        when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, 'Lord, Son of David,
                        have mercy on us!'  Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes.
                         Immediately they received their sight and followed him."

Sunday, March 21, 2010 - 5th Sunday in Lent
     
      "The Visit to Zaccheus"
                       Luke 19:2-10  "A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief
                        tax collector and was wealthy.  He wanted to see who Jesus was, but being
                        a short man he could not, because of the crowd.  So he ran ahead and 

                        climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way."

          "The Widow's Mite"
                       Mark 12:41-44  "Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were
                        put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury.
                       Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in
                        two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny."

                       Matthew 21:1-11  " 'Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will
                       find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to
                       me.'  A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut
                       branches from the trees and spread them on the road.  The crowds that went
                       ahead of him and those that followed shouted, 'Hosanna to the Son of David!' "

                        'Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.' "

Friday, April 2, 2010, 12:30 & 7:00 p.m.  -  GOOD FRIDAY
          "Why is Such a Bad Day Called Good"
                       John 18:12-19:42  "Then the detachment of soldiers with its commander
                         and the Jewish officials arrested Jesus.  They bound him and brought
                        him first to Anna, who was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, the high priest
                         that year."

Sunday, April 4, 2010, 8:30 & 11:00 a.m.  -  EASTER SUNDAY
          
"He Touched Me"
                       Matthew 8:1-4  "A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and
                       said, 'Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.'  Jesus reached
                       out his hand and touched the man.  'I am willing,' he said.  'Be clean!'
                       Immediately he was cured of his leprosy."
