Secret Pal

The concept of the “Secret Pal Exchange” started many years ago. Its purpose was to involve more people in prayer. As you know, prayer is one of the six disciplines and essential to Christian growth. That is why this event has become an important ministry at Community Lutheran Church.

During the year, we hope you will learn all you can about your Secret Pal. The sheet you draw at the exchange contains pertinent information about your new Secret Pal. (A good suggestion is to put it in your purse, so you will have it available at all times.)

Designed to enrich and encourage a woman’s walk in the Lord; this ministry is always a lot of fun. It’s a challenge to keep your “secret pal” a secret for a whole year. Each year in February the big “revealing” takes place and the new year begins. Surprises are left for your secret pal at the table by the mailboxes. Just take a look at the many creative and interesting ways our women have of telling each other to “jump into the fun.”

Areas you can “jump in” are:

1)                  Encourage “Pals” to pray for each other.

2)                Help coordinate February Luncheon.

3)                Help setup for February Luncheon.
