Building Security

 

The people who serve in this ministry area contribute an essential component of the total ministry of Community Lutheran Church. Because of these dedicated people, we have a safe and secure building where we can worship and serve our God.

 

The building security team member is scheduled for one week of service, where he will come to the church and life center every night between 9:30 – 10:00 p.m. to make sure the buildings have been locked, the lights are turned off, windows closed, and all the inside doors have been shut; then sets the alarm in both buildings.

 

The Building Security schedule appears on the Working Together for Exciting Worship form next to last on the bottom. It is the responsibility of the team member to arrange a replacement when he is unable to complete the week as scheduled.

 

We thank God that you enable the church to maintain safe and secure buildings where ministry can take place. Although this is a total “behind the scene” ministry area, it plays a vital role in being

 

Instructions and Helpful Hints

 

1.       The team member completes the “building security” procedure checklist
          on his nightly rounds.

 

 

2.       Make sure to complete the check-in list located in office wing entry
          foyer above alarm keypad. Inform the coordinator of Building
          Security Ministry Team of any irregularities
