Jamie came to Community in 1995 as Musician, Choir Director, and Music Administrator. He went to New York for a short time to gain some new experiences, and returned to us in 2000 as Media Director. After returning, he was also active with the Trenton Theater as a producer, where he met Brigette, whom he married in 2003. Jamie's experiences have made a tremendous contribution to the excitement and uplifting level of our worship and musical productions. By the use of technology, he has helped to make all of our presentations current and relative.
Jamie's Responsibilities Include:
- Member of the Worship Planning Team
- Member of the Communication Group (advertising team)
- Equip, train, mentor and rehearse vocal and instrumental musicians
- Equip, train, and mentor worship technicians
- Equip, train and mentor teachers and helpers for Impact Zone
- Assist Music Worship Leader in choosing worship music for services
- Select and prepare special music for worship
- Serve as Worship Leader for praise team led services
- Arrange music for praise band
- Serve as Producer for all worship services and large events
- Technical Director for large outreach events
- Assist Drama Director in production of sketches & full-length plays/musicals
- Design stage and set layout for worship and productions
- Create original videos for use in advertising and sermon illustrations
- Research & edit existing films for use as sermon illustrations
- Keep all copyright licenses updated and assure that the church remains copyright compliant
- Oversee support staff in Creative Arts
