Amy has been a member of Community since December 1993, shortly after her marriage to Todd. They live here in Flat Rock with their two children, Haley who is 10 and Austin who is 8. Within a year after joining us, our Music Director became aware of Amy’s beautiful voice and enlisted her in our music ministry. In 1997 she was recruited for our first One Accord Praise Team where she continued to grow into one our favorite soloists.
In the fall of 2002, Amy came on staff as a part-time teacher’s aide for our Creative Learning Campus and ministered there through the end of the 2004-2005 school year. In January 2005, she also started working as the Creative Arts Assistant for Jamie Clements 2 days a week. When the school year ended in June, Amy added the three days to her schedule in the Music Department.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist Creative Arts Director in all duties
- General clerical assistance for Creative Arts Director
- Equip, mentor and schedule Song Leaders
- Equip Impact Zone teachers
- Equip, mentor and recruit Impact Zone helpers
- Registrar for Impact Zone
- Prepare worship music for all musicians
- Order, track and request payment for all creative arts resources
- Copyright reporting
